2PIGRECOE is committed to providing all employees and professionals with quality and effective health and safety programs.
Our general policy is:
- to provide adequate control of health, safety, and environmental risks arising from our work activities
- to prevent and minimize risks to health and safety
- to consult with our employees about matters affecting their health, safety, and environmental
- to provide and maintain safe plant and equipment
- to ensure the safe handling and use of substances
- to provide information, instruction, and supervision for employees
- to give adequate training and ensure that all employees are competent to do their tasks
- to prevent accidents and cases of work-related ill health
- to maintain safe and healthy working conditions
- to review and revise this policy as necessary at regular intervals
Responsibility for developing and maintaining the 2PIGRECOE health and safety program resides in the Office of Management. However, each and every supervisor and employee is critical to the success of our efforts to protect health and safety. All supervisors and managers must ensure that the employees/professionals under their direction understand and adhere to occupational health and safety requirements. Employees/professionals have the basic responsibilities of following health and safety practices and procedures established in this manual and reporting any workplace hazards, injuries, or illnesses.
To meet our health and safety goals it is required each person’s individual commitment and ever-present awareness of employee/professional safety, health, and well-being in all 2PIGRECOE activities and programs
